it IS all about the timing darlings

If you love me the way I will begin to love you, when you buy me this watch, well, you could buy me this watch. It costs INR 10,000.
I know.
Very reasonable for a lifetime of true love, affection and joy.
Yes, you're welcome. And you can also totally practice your most charming 'Thank You' look in the mirror. It'll earn you brownie points when you appreciate this once.in.a.lifetime.offer that has been flung your way.

PS : All this time when a dear friend said love is all about timing, I really thought he was talking nonsense. I'm sorry to have belittled your intelligence Sam. I now know what you meant by 'timing'.

I still did not get your friend's point about love being all about timing though.
Elaborate?

Ok peoples, clarification - the watch is a deep orange, and not red. It's divine, nonetheless:)

once again: I'm glad you figured how to spend your money judiciously.

Chandni: i knw i knw....who's planning to be nice to me though?

Well, this sweetie pie friend of mine has always maintained that the key to a happy relationship is all about right timing. Any two individuals should be looking for the right things at the right time to come together. Things here denote, well, being single, and so keeping eyes open. And he keeps saying this to me more so because i can now make a career out of falling for the right people at the wrong time:)

So when we cant rely on the perfect watch for timing, we rely on the cell phones :)

Reading your blog takes me too much into the past too. I'm married now and everything you write, reminds me of my ex. The husband is uber-loving but I cannot help wondering why my ex did not meet me now. He met me when I was in college and I've learnt to take so much less for granted now. But, I guess, if I'm single after 5 years, I'd probably look back and wish I was with the husband and he had met the more evolved me. So who confuses us ? Them or us ? :)
